"One has to remember that every failure can be a stepping stone to something better."
Col. Harland Sanders
If you’re new to traffic exchanges or even a pro user of many years there are many helpful tips of using them and how to become very profitable with them. Everyone I know involve in this traffic exchange resource, have many available and helpful tips that will encourage you to participate in such.
The one that is always talked about is on how to make money with traffic exchanges. And as I have read, every available tip known, it all comes down to two choices, either to invest your Time or Money. As I have talked in previous articles, that work is a must for every business to achieve a certain level of success, since money does not grow on trees. But investing your Time and Money in traffic exchanges, you will definitely see the fruits of your labor grow as you apply and follow, all the tips that you have learned, because traffic exchanges do work.
You must also have a plan in place, because just like I said, building a business is like constructing an apartment building, and one of the apartments is your Traffic exchange source, so respected also and treated like a business. Now, if you think that sitting on your computer for a few hours, looking at other people’s promotions could be boring and useless, and then this must not be the right source for you. But if you do not have the funds available to advertise your business, this is the best way to go about it and you could make it profitable one.
A traffic exchange is one of my best resources available to bring members to my email list. I like to surf and learned from other people’s promotions, get ideas, see what they have to say, see what is available in the market arena. I actually have learned and got different ideas from such that once implemented have brought me members to my email lists. And I am also profiting from them.
Now you have heard the saying, “different strokes from different folks,” well, I do not follow the crowd sort of speaks, because one thing in traffic exchanges is the ability to be unique and to brand yourself.
So my first tip will be - Always stick out from the herd. With users quickly surfing through pages you need something fast loading that grabs attention. This often times means using your own custom built splash page. While splash pages you can create on some of these free programs are nice, nothing quite beats a professionally done splash page or squeeze page.
I listen and learned, and what I learned could be describe in this paragraph of encouragement from the owner of Traffic Hoopla, Bill Carr, “Getting started, traffic building, is like building a business, it’s hard work, and it will take time. However, if you will do it, you will reap, and the harvest is worth it. This is numbers games no matter how you look it. On average, from the best exchanges, you will see one new signup for every 400 to 1000 hits. Think big picture, get into a daily routine, and build one on the other. At some point, as you discover a handful of active people, you will see your results multiply. Think of your work today as a new farmer planting seeds for a harvest. I know a few things about planting and growing. As a new farmer, if I go today and plant a few seeds, then return complaining of no harvest, all the successful farmers would laugh. And if I did it again tomorrow, the next day, and a few weeks more, the response would be the same. It is simply unrealistic to achieve success overnight, or in weeks, or in months, for farming, for traffic building, or any business, online or off. Every once in a while, a newcomer arrives with deeper pockets than the rest of us. They enter, setup up their Hoopla, upgrade, and buy a lot of signups. At some point, after a few months and 50 to 100 signups, they throw up their hands and proclaim it does not work. But as is common, the account remains, and at some point, a year or two later, the person returns to discover a massive indirect down line. This means a handful of their direct referrals became very active, and everything soon multiplied. This is all good, for everyone. But just imagine if this person never stopped, and their direct referrals were hundreds?”
So this brings me to the second tip - Always build your list! If you’re not capturing your visitors’ information it's going to be VERY hard to get that user to ever visit your site again. Building your list allows you to keep in touch with these visitors and promote future products and services to them. This will increase your down lines at that program with much less effort.
Well, for the last tip - Don't spend all day surfing. While it’s fun and rewarding you only need to surf a few hundred to keep your sites in rotation (granted your upgraded) your other time can be spent enjoying life or finding other means of driving traffic to your sites expanding your audience. While this is a good tip, I usually engage in surfing a lot, especially if this is working for me. I learned, apply, track, test, change, and test again.
Every entrepreneur, to achieve any amount of success should be motivated. Motivation comes from passion. Every book published or e-book that deals in money making and motivation screams passion – the most important ingredient in any successful entrepreneur. Similarly, when you think about going after that extra income, you have to create a burning passion to do so. It will keep your fire glowing for a long time, at least till the first results become apparent. An entrepreneur should strongly believe in himself and his capabilities. One should have the ability and courage to make independent decisions and abide by them. This would be your most valuable asset yet. Your online business needs your approval heart and soul; otherwise success will keep eluding you and so will the extra income you planned from it.
Being flexible with working hours, being energetic, planning wisely, focusing on short-term objectives and stress control are hallmarks of a successful home business owner. If you think you lack in any of them, practice till you make these attributes a part of your involuntary senses. Discipline to start is very important but to know where to stop is more important. Do not overwork or stress up yourself to the point of not stopping. It will only burn out your imagination and render you useless for some time to come.
Building your business is more important than earning money out of it. As your business sustains and grows, the money you earn from it automatically grows. Knowledge earned does not cost a cent here but will help in decision making in all spheres of independent life. Last but not the least, fear of failure and not failure itself leads to most failures. Keep trying, look at failure as a part of learning and appreciate your benefit of knowledge from it. Learn from your mistakes, a lesson we have learnt in primary school. What to take away from this... Never put all your eggs in one basket and always stick out in a positive way to other surfers
